1. Introduction
The Best Western Plus Hotel Fellbach-Stuttgart is committed to making its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with legal requirements. The accessibility requirements result from the Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), in particular from § 14 BFSG in conjunction with § 3 para. 1 BFSG, as well as the underlying Ordinance to the Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSGV). The specific technical measures are based on the guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 with conformity levels A and AA. This website is partially accessible, as not all requirements are fully met.
3. Non-accessible content
a) Technical barriers:
- iFrames without titles: Embedded content (e.g. maps, external videos) do not have meaningful titles for screen readers.
- iFrames for third-party content: These are not always accessible and cannot be influenced by us.
- Wrong or missing HTML structure: The page structure sometimes uses heading levels without a preceding logical order . This makes navigation within the content difficult, especially for users of assistive technologies. We will fix this.
- Captcha systems without accessible alternatives: Some forms use visual captchas without an acoustic alternative (login to the rewards account), we are working on an alternative.
- Some content, such as embedded maps (Google Maps) or image galleries, is opened on our website in so-called „lightboxes“. These interactive windows are currently not fully accessible. We are working on making these functions accessible in the future. As a transitional solution, we also provide all content (e.g. addresses, directions, captions) in text form or send these on request.
b) Content barriers:
- PDF and Office documents not accessible (missing tags, poor structure, non-accessible tables).
- Language mix on the website: Some sections contain English terms without the language being correctly marked up in the code.
d) Unreasonable burden:
According to Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, an exception due to unreasonable burden may be invoked for certain content. Despite our efforts, it is currently not possible for us to offer the following content completely accessible:
- Older PDF documents and Office files:
Many PDF documents and Word files published before June 26, 2025 are not accessible. These documents sometimes contain missing structures, insufficient alternative texts for images or complex tables, which cannot be revised at short notice without additional resources.
New documents will be provided in an accessible format if possible.

Check-in and on-site stay: Guests are welcomed at the 24-hour reception. Breakfast, drinks, and meals are served in the Atrium restaurant, on the terrace, or in the CHILMYS Bar & Bistro.
Meetings and events: On-site rooms are available for conferences and celebrations – equipped with natural daylight, modern technology, catering, and personalized planning.
Additional services: Bicycle rental, laundry service, EV charging, wellness area, and ticket assistance can be arranged through the reception.
Key information regarding booking, amenities, pricing, and services is published online in a clearly structured format. Mobility options such as parking, accessible rooms, and pet-friendly features are also listed.
