3. Categories of personal data
Basically, we process all data that are necessary for the execution of the contract for accommodation in our hotel and that are specified in the respective contract documents, e.g. Your personal data (name, gender, date of birth), contact and address data, booking data (period, price), payment data (bank details, credit card information). In addition, we process special data categories if you have given them to us independently during booking, e.g. Wheelchair user or gluten intolerance.

4. Source of personal data
We generally collect your personal data in direct contact with you. In addition, we also receive data from third parties, for example online booking platforms, tour operators or from the employers of our business guests who provide us with the data.

We process your personal data for the purpose
  • of contract initiation (e.g. preparation of an offer)
  • of the conclusion of the contract and for the execution of the contract
  • of communicating with you
  • of the processing of payments and accounting
  • of improving our service
  • of the fulfillment of legal (reporting) obligations
6. Recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data
Within our hotel, only the persons entrusted with the respective task have access to your data. Your data will only be passed on in compliance with legal regulations. The following recipient categories can receive data:
  • Tax consultants, lawyers, credit institutions, credit bureaus, document shredders, postal service providers
  • IT service providers, software providers as part of the maintenance of our systems
  • authorities
7. Legal basis
We only process your data if there is a legal basis for this. Contract initiation and contract execution are based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. If we are subject to legal obligations, we base the data processing on Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. c GDPR. This is the case, for example, when the Federal Registration Act is complied with. You can also give us your consent for processing, e.g. for the longer storage period of your data. In this case, we rely on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If you give us special
categories of personal data, such as health data independently, we process based on Art. 9 Para. 2 lit. a GDPR. In addition, we collect data on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, whereby the legitimate interest can be, for example:
a) the existence of a legal relationship,
b) fraud prevention,
c) measures to protect our hotel and our employees from unlawful acts and
d) measures to ensure our IT systems and IT security.

8. Storage period of personal data:
The data stored during the collection will be deleted after the statutory retention and limitation periods have expired, or after the purpose ceases to apply, whichever period is longer.

9. Data subject rights
You have the following rights towards us with regard to your personal data:
  • the Right of access by the data subject (Art. 15 GDPR) to the data we have stored about you
  • the Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) of inaccurate personal data concerning you
  • the Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) the data if there is no legal basis for further storage (“right to be forgotten”)
  • the Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) the data to specific purposes
  • the Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • the Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) the processing of your data

According to Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object to data processing that is processed by us on the basis of a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, if your particular situation gives rise to reasons against this processing. You also have a right to object to direct advertising in accordance with Art. 21 Para. 2 GDPR.
If the processing of your data is based on consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent given until the revocation is not affected by the revocation. We expressly point out that cases are conceivable in which the processing could be based on several legal bases that apply side by side. In such a case, we reserve the right to base the processing on another legal basis, even if you withdraw your consent. We will inform you accordingly if you withdraw your consent.
